Georgia reports 14 new COVID-19 cases
Georgia has reported 14 new COVID-19 cases earlier today, bringing the total number of cases to 1,278.
As of today 203 individuals remain infected with COVID-19 in the country, 1,058 of the 1,278 patients have recovered, while 17 others have died.
12 of 14 new cases were reported in the Lenjeri village of Mestia municipality.
Mestia municipality in western Georgia and Karajalari village of Gardabani municipality in eastern Georgia remain on coronavirus lockdown.
More then 1,000 peole were tested for the coronavirus in four village of Mestia municipality yesterday.
Eleven employees of the Georgian Interior Ministry have tested positive for the coronavirus over the past several days. They are undergoing treatment in Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases.
7,718 people were quarantined in Georgia as of August 12m Agenda.ge reported.
