Georgia reports 980 new COVID-19 cases

Georgia has reported 980 new cases of coronavirus, 877 recoveries and 11 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

30,579 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 15,598 of the 30,579 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 14,981 were PCR tests. 

The country has had 366,078 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 2.66% of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days. 352,624 of the 366,078 patients have recovered, while 5,327 have died from the virus. 

Currently 9,081 individuals remain infected with Covid-19. 2,729 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 601 of the 2,729 patients are in critical condition. 165 of the 601 critical patients are on artificial ventilation. 

More than 5,847,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far, reported.
