Georgy Vanyan calls on Armenia to peace with Azerbaijan
Human rights activist Georgy Vanyan called on the residents and the leadership of Armenia to peace with Azerbaijan. This is not the first time he has voiced his position expressed in an interview with Alexei Romanov.
Vanyan calls himself a "peacemaker in exile."
"His view of Armenia strikingly differs from the ideas imposed on the Armenian society. They did not want to hear him after the victory in the first Karabakh war and they do not want to hear him after the defeat in the Second Karabakh war. He says things that no one in Armenia dares to say," the expert described journalist.
Back in late October and early November, Vanyan openly addressed Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan with an appeal to stop the war and return the occupied territories to Azerbaijan.
