 Gymnastics World Cup in Baku kicks off

The first qualifying round of the FIG World Challenge Cup in Artistic Gymnastics started at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku. The first day was started with competitions on men’s artistic gymnastics on pommel horse, rings and floor exercises.

Azerbaijan is represented by Oleg Stepko and Petro Pakhnyuk.

Women will compete on vault and uneven bars later.

The official opening ceremony of the World Cup will take place at 14:00 MSK.

Stian Skjerahaug (Norway) is leading in the artistic gymnastics pommel horse exercise in the first rotation with 14.4 points. Oleg Stepko took the 4th place, gaining 13.45 points, Petro Pakhnyuk - 11.95 points (5th place).
