Head of Russian Orthodox Church congratulates believers on upcoming Easter holiday
Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’ Kirill congratulated Orthodox Christians on the upcoming Easter. The text of the traditional Easter message is published on the ROC website.
The head of the Russian Orthodox Church recalled that faith in the resurrection of Jesus Christ is "the unshakable foundation, the unshakable pillar on which Christianity rests."
"With his redemptive deed, the Savior united Heavenly and earthly, Eternal and temporary, the Creator and the creature, God and man.
