Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump postpone rallies following Dallas police shootings

Presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton postponed campaign rallies on Friday, as the killing of five police officers and wounding of seven officers and two civilians Thursday night in Dallas reverberated through Washington, prompting widespread condemnation of the violence and calls for national calm, The Wall Street Journal‎ reports.

Democrat Hillary Clinton postponed her rally in Scranton, Pa., at which she was expected to appear with Vice President Joe Biden. Republican Donald Trump canceled a trip to Miami.
