Hollande blames Russia for attempts to influence public opinion
Russia is seeking to affirm itself as a global power while testing Western countries' resistance, the French President Francois Hollande said.
"Russia has been using every tool to influence public opinion. Let us not exaggerate, but we need to be vigilant," TASS cited him as saying.
According to the French president, Russia wants to participate in resolving conflicts in the world to its own advantage.
Hollande noted that Russia’s alleged efforts to influence the Western public opinion should be timely detected.
