Huntsman asked for meetings with Medvedev, Matvienko and Gerasimov
US Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman plans to meet with the head of the Russian government Dmitry Medvedev, representatives of the Kremlin, the leadership of Russian special services and some ministers. The corresponding message was published by the US embassy on its official Twitter page.
"Ambassador Huntsman believes in dialogue and is always ready to meet with Russian officials," it says.
The diplomat wants to talk, in particular, with Russian State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin, Council of the Federation Speaker Valentina Matviyenko, First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, the head of the Presidential Administration Anton Vaino, his first deputies Alexei Gromov and Sergei Kiriyenko.
The list also includes the official presidential representative Dmitry Peskov, the head of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, the minister of energy Alexander Novak, the minister of industry and trade Denis Manturov, the head of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov and Sberbank CEO, Chairman of the Board German Gref and the Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich.
