ISIS claims responsibility for blast near Shiite mosque in Kabul
ISIS has taken responsibility for the suicide attack on mosque in Kabul that killed at least six people.
Six people died in an explosion during a prayer at a Shia mosque in the Afghan capital, including a leader of Afghanistan's ethnic Hazaras, Hajji Ramazan Hussainzada.
Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Danish said there was gunfire outside the mosque as the suicide bomber tried to force his way inside, but he was stopped by a police officer, who died in the explosion. Another policeman was wounded, the AP reported.
