Ilham Aliyev: Armenia can have place in post-war regional cooperation

If Armenia draws the right conclusions from the war, it can have a place in the regional cooperation bloc, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said.

Offering an olive branch to Armenia, Aliyev said they are ready to start fresh cooperation with Yerevan for the sake of lasting peace in the region.

"If the Armenian administration draws the right conclusions from the war and looks to the future by giving up its baseless claims, then they can have a place in this bloc," the Azerbaijani leader said, referring to the regional bloc on the cards.

He also said he will travel with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the Turkey-built highway to Shusha, once the project is completed, Anadolu Agency reported.
