Implementation of the Minsk agreements postponed until 2016
Today leaders of the Normandy Quartet held a general telephone conference. After it, Vladimir Putin, Angela Merkel, Francois Hollande and Petro Poroshenko agreed to extend the Minsk agreements until 2016.
In addition, at the beginning of the coming year the Foreign Ministers of the Normandy Quartet will have to make an inventory of the implementation of the agreements in Minsk, as well as planned bilateral contacts between the Presidents.
It is known that during a telephone conversation were raised issues of safety in the south-east of Ukraine and economic problems associated with the entry into force of the EC-Ukraine Association Agreement, Tass reports.
