Iranian Foreign Ministry: ISIS not ended by Al-Baghdadi's death

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyed Abbas Mousavi said that the U.S.-claimed death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi does not end terrorism and operations of the notorious terrorist group, warning that recruitment of remnants of the ISIS terrorists by Washington is still possible.

"We do not see the killing of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi as the end of terrorism and the ISIS, and we warn that this way of thinking is still alive and their remnants might be reorganized by the Americans again to conduct sabotage operations in the region," the Fars news agency cited him as saying.

Mousavi described the U.S. hype over killing al-Baghdadi as not a so big achievement, noting that the U.S. president means to make use of the incident in his election campaign.
