Is ceasefire in Donbas Ukraine's April Fool joke?
The Ukrainian Defense Ministry says it stands ready to comply with the agreements on a ceasefire in the conflict area in Donbas starting from April 1, which were reached at a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesperson Oleksandr Motuzianyk said.
"I am not authorized to comment on decisions made by the Minsk Group, however, I would like to say once again that the Ukrainian Armed Forces and other agencies involved in the Anti-Terrorist operation (ATO) are ready to fulfill all decisions to be made by the Minsk Group," Interfax cited him as saying.
According to him, Ukraine is ready for a withdrawal and a unilateral ceasefire.
