Israel receives Azerbaijani delegation
An Azerbaijani delegation arrived in Israel on a three-day visit on February 9. It includes representatives of various parties, Samad Seyidov, Asim Mollazade, Yevda Abramov and Sevinj Fataliyeva, as well as the head of the Israeli center in Baku, Emilia Khudiyeva.
Yesterday the representatives of Azerbaijan visited the Knesset for the first time in the history of relations between the two countries.
The chairman of the inter-parliamentary group Israel-Azerbaijan, Avigdor Lieberman, received the delegation. During a conversation with the Azerbaijani parliamentarians he made a number of suggestions on further development of relations between Israel and Azerbaijan.
Then they held a meeting with the Chairman of the Knesset Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Defense Committee, Tzachi Hanegbi, and the Speaker of the Knesset Yuli Edelstein.
The International Association Israel-Azerbaijan 'AzIz' was represented by general director Lev Spivak and a member of the board of directors Shaul Siman-Tov.
