Israel won't join sanctions against Russia
The co-chairman of the joint Russian-Israeli commission on trade-economic cooperation, Minister of Absorption and Minister for Jerusalem Affairs, Zeev Elkin, stated today that Israel has its own system of relations with Russia, and it is not going to join the anti-Russian sanctions.
According to him, Israel takes the position of neutrality in the conflicts which exist today between Russia and the West. "Israel has its own system of relations with Russia. And even when we do not agree with a particular decision of Russia, we prefer to sort things out, as I have said, with a direct dialogue between the leaders of countries and not through sanctions," TASS quoted Elkin as saying.
