Kazakhstan allocates $3.9 mln to fight coronavirus outbreak
The Kazakh government allocated 1.5 billion tenge ($3.9 mln) for protection of citizens from coronavirus, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Berdibek Saparbayev said.
He added that they are ready to allocate additional funds, if needed, AKIpress reported.
Earlier, the Kazakh President ordered to purchase additional protection tools for the population.
Chinese authorities informed the World Health Organization about an outbreak of an unknown pneumonia in Wuhan in December. According to latest reports, the number of confirmed cases of novel coronavirus in China has reached 7,711. A total of 170 people have died.
