Khloponin: Kizlyar needs cadets
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Khloponin, while on a visit to Dagestan, stated that Kizlyar needs a Cossack Cadet Corps. "I think that in a city with such a history as that of Kizlyar, a cadet corps should definitely exist," he explained.
At the same time, Khloponin added that he intends to discuss the opening of the cadet corps across the North Caucasus with Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative to the North Caucasus Federal District Sergey Melikov and the head of the Ministry of Education Dmitry Livanov.
Sergey Melikov, in his turn, noted that Dagestan was the first Caucasus subject of Russia to have adopted a program for supporting Cossacks over the next two years.
