Kosachev: US should realize that the world is not Americacentric
The head of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, Konstantin Kosachev, has stressed, commenting on an interview given by the US Assistant Secretary of State, the head of the Human Rights Democracy Bureau, Tom Malinowski, no one can hardly believe the US diplomats about their interest in the strong and democratic state of Russia, "otherwise they would not support with admirable tenacity all those who bet on the hostility towards the Russian Federation and blatant Russophobia.’’
The senator was surprised by Malinowski’s words that the United States has never engaged in an anti-Russian policy. "The leader of the US has recently named Russia as one of the three main threats to America that are needed to be restrained. We don’t say that it is precisely the anti-Russian line of the US. Just the independent course our country is automatically placed by the American system of recognition of external threats to the section for the US risks and measures directed to their elimination begin to be conducted," Tass cites him as saying.
