Kremlin confirms telephone conference between Putin, Merkel, Hollande and Cameron
The presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that a joint telephone conference on the situation in Syria between Vladimir Putin, Angela Merkel, Francois Hollande, David Cameron will be held today. It was noted that one more participant might join the conversation.
Speaking of 'another party' the press secretary added that European counterparts discussed these issues with the US President Barack Obama in an earlier telephone call.
Peskov also did not specify who was the initiator of the telephone conference, TASS reports.
