Lockdown extended in Almaty
Strict quarantine measures in Almaty were extended until April 12. Within the restrictive measures, students of schools, colleges and universities are transferred to distance education.
In addition, shopping and entertainment centers, non-food markets, cinemas, theaters, museums, libraries, saunas, spa centers, and fitness centers will be closed. Food markets can only work on weekdays from 6 am to 5 pm, Sputnik Kazakhstan reports, specifying that cafes and restaurants can continue to work only for take-out and delivery.
