Mikheil Chkhenkeli and Sozar Subari given new appointments
Georgia's former Minister of Education and Science Mikheil Chkhenkeli and former Internally Displaced People, Refugees and Resettlement minister Sozar Subari were given new appointments. They became advisers to the Prime Minister of Georgia.
Chkhenkeli was appointed Mamuka Bakhtadze's adviser on education, and Subari - adviser on regional development issues, Sputnik-Georgia reports.
They ministers lost their positions after last week's reshuffle in the Georgian government. The Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons has been abolished and integrated into the ministries of regional development and infrastructure, internal affairs and health, while the Ministry of Culture and Sport was merged with the Ministry of Education and Science.
