Most Russians think that upcoming year will be better than outgoing
More than a half of Russians (53%) believe that the new 2017 will be more successful for them than the outgoing year, only 4% of the population are pessimistic about this issue, Levada-Center reveals the results of the recently conducted survey.
Almost one in five (18%) of the respondents expressed doubt that the new year will be different from the previous one. The majority of respondents, just like in the previous year, will not be surprised by the loud corruption scandals and ministerial resignations: 60% now and 53% during the last year's survey. 16% believe in the resignation of the government, 9% of Russians believe in the possibility of a coup.
