NATO to retain 12,000 servicemen in Afghanistan

NATO is to maintain its military presence in Afghanistan in 2016 at the level of 12,000 servicemen.

This was announced today at a briefing in Brussels during a meeting of the foreign ministers of the member-states of the alliance, NATO secretary general Jens Stoltenberg said.
