Nazi accomplice Garegin Nzhdeh passed off as hero of Great Patriotic War in Armenia

On May 9, there was a portrait of one of the founders of the Armenian Legion of Wehrmacht, Hitler's General Garegin Nzhdeh at the march in Yerevan - a St. George ribbon and the Order of the Great Patriotic War was attached to his portrait.

This happened only a few days after the Russian Foreign Ministry presented the report “On the situation with the glorification of Nazism, the spread of neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to the escalation of modern forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance”, which in particular tells about the facts of glorification of Nazi accomplice Garegin Nzhdeh and nationalist movements in Armenia. The text of the report is published on the website of the department.
