Oil continue to fall awaiting US statistics
The decline in world oil prices is associated with the publication of the US Department of Energy's new statistics and in anticipation of Baker Hughes statistics.
As of 8:00 MSK, the price of a barrel of Brent crude dropped 0.02%, reaching $40.46. WTI oil prices dropped even more, by 0.43%, to $39.62.
According to the US Department of Energy, US commercial crude oil inventories [excluding those in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve] increased by 9.4 million barrels from the previous week.
