Pashazade: Sunnis and Shiites to celebrate Ramadan together in Azerbaijan
The Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, expressed concern over the possibility of disagreement among Azerbaijani Muslims in connection with the fact that some people bring wrong religious calendars into the country.
"This is a provocation, all believers should be careful and cooperate with the state structures," APA cited him as saying.
According to the Caucasian Muslims Office head, the forces trying to violate stability in the country are behind this. "You cannot give them that opportunity. For example, if July 6 is a holiday, all Sunnis and Shiites will perform the festive prayer in one day," Pashazade stressed.
