Pashinyan reveals when situation in Armenia can be resolved
The tense internal political situation in Armenia can be resolved only in case of early parliamentary elections, the opposition leader, candidate for the post of prime ministerof Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said.
"This situation will not be finally resolved if we do not go to early parliamentary elections," he said. "Only free and transparent elections can weaken internal political tension," TASS cited Pashinyan as saying.
In addition, he said that today he will meet with the faction of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and discuss "their voting methods."
"We are ready for any development scenarios," the opposition leader said. He added that on May 8 he will convene a large rally of supporters of the opposition.
