Peskov: Putin doesn't watch yesterday's football match
Russian President Vladimir Putin did not watch the broadcast of a football match between the national teams of Russia and Wales as part of the UEFA Euro-2016 championship, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"The president did not watch the game yesterday, as during the match he was attending Lenfilm [film studio]," Sputnik cited Peskov as saying.
"I do not think I have right to comment, although I very much want to," he said, commenting the football match.
The Russian football team lost to the Wales team in the match of the third round of the championship's group stage with a score of 0:3 and hence was kicked out of the tournament.
