Police start dismantling protesters' tents set up in front of Georgia's parliament
Georgia's police department has started dismantling the tents that opposition supporters have set up near the parliament building in Tbilisi and transferring them to the pavement, Rustavi 2 broadcaster reported.
The opposition supporters prevent lawmakers from entering the parliament, blocking access to all entrances.
According to the Georgian Public Broadcaster, special unit forces and demonstrators are standing face-to-face at the parliament building, with demonstrators fearing that police may disperse the rally.
Georgia's Interior Ministry has urged demonstrators earlier today to remove barriers from the parliament building and allow MPs to hold a beau meeting which should have been conducted at 3 p.m. today.
