Polish Prime Minister comments on Nord Stream-2 construction
There are no 'fierce anti-Russian sentiments' in Poland, but Warsaw does not like some Russian projects, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said
The politician listed the construction of Nord Stream-2 among such initiatives.
He also explained why Warsaw criticizes Germany. "Though there are various factions in the ruling party, which have different opinions about relations with Germany, Poland will not reconcile with Nord Stream-2, the politician said.
Morawiecki believes that European money for this gas pipeline will be used to sponsor weapons for Russia. "This is why Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 are so dangerous for our region," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.
"This is why we are criticizing Germany," the Polish PM concluded.
