Putin briefs Security Council on Syrian talks in Sochi
Russian President Vladimir Putin met with permanent members of the Security Council, according to the Kremlin website.
The meeting participants had a thorough exchange of opinions in the context of the President’s international contacts earlier this week, including visits by foreign leaders and telephone conversations.
The main focus was on the Syrian settlement in light of the results of the Sochi meeting between the presidents of Russia, Turkey and Iran.
Other issues discussed included Russia’s domestic socioeconomic agenda.
