Right to Friday prayers to be included in the Labor Code of Turkey
Among the amendments that is planned to be included in the Labour Code of Turkey, a rule that allows workers to leave their workplace temporarily for the fulfillment of the Friday prayers has been provided, the Prime Minister of the Republic, Ahmet Davutoglu said, speaking at a meeting of the parliamentary faction of the ruling Justice and Development Party.
He noted that believers had previously had to deal with complexities associated with the Labor Law in order to be absent for Friday prayers. "Now everyone can perform Friday prayers without worrying. At the same time, this time will not be deducted from the employee's working time,’’ 1news.az quotes the head of the Turkish government.
