Russia’s Gazprom CEO, Turkey’s Energy Minister discuss Turkish Stream relaunch
A delegation from the Russian gas company Gazprom and the Turkish energy minister held talks in Istanbul on restarting the Turkish Stream gas pipeline project, Turkey’s Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources spokesman said Wednesday, Sputnik reports.
"Gazprom CEO [Alexei Miller] met one on one with our minister [Berat Albayrak]. The Turkish Stream project, as well as arbitration over gas discounts and regional energy issues, were under discussion," ministry spokesman Mehmet Ali Berber told RIA Novosti.
Berber said Miller is currently meeting with Turkey’s state-owned Botas energy company.
