Russia: Netanyahu did not propose a peace plan for Syria
Dmitry Peskov, spokesman of the Russian presidency, yesterday denied that Israel had handed over a plan regarding the resolution of the Syrian conflict to President Vladimir Putin, Middle East Monitor reported citing TASS.
Speaking to journalists, Peskov said: “I cannot confirm this information. In this case, details must be apparently clarified to establish what plan we are talking about here and what Netanyahu meant when he spoke about it.”
He denied all reports stating that Israel had handed over a plan to Putin during the former’s official visit to Russia last month.
