Russia and Azerbaijan are the best in the Greco-Roman wrestling at Baku 2015 European Games
Today at the Baku 2015 European Games performances of wrestlers in Greco-Roman style have come to an end: the medals were played in the following categories: up to 66, 75, 85 and 130 kg.
The best results in the Greco-Roman wrestling were shown by Russian athletes. In total, they won five gold and one bronze medals. The team of Azerbaijan also performed brilliantly. They won two gold, two silver and two bronze medals.
In today's competition the following athletes won the final fights: Russian Artem Surkov (66 kg), Davit Chakvetadze (85 kg), as well as a representative of Azerbaijan Elvin Mursaliyev (75 kg). The Silver medalist was Sabah Shariati from Azerbaijan (up to 130 kg). The bronze member won Hasan Aliyev (66 kg) from Azerbaijan and Genghis Labazanov (75 kg) from Russia.
