Russia documents 15,089 new COVID-19 cases
Russia has documented 15,089 COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours, with the overall case count reaching 4,042,837, the anti-coronavirus crisis center told reporters on Friday.
The daily increase rate has reached about 0.38%.
Coronavirus cases in Moscow grew by 2,139 in the past twenty-four hours to 952,656. Moscow’s coronavirus growth rate equaled 0.2%. On February 11, Moscow registered 2,040 new coronavirus cases.
Sixty-three patients died of the novel coronavirus infection in Moscow in the past twenty-four hours, taking fatalities in the Russian capital to 14,223, the latest data show.
A total of 3,184 patients recovered from the novel coronavirus in Moscow in the past twenty-four hours, bringing total recoveries to 865,100. Currently, 73,333 continue treatment for the novel coronavirus in the Russian capital.
In the past 24 hours, 1,134 COVID-19 cases have been documented in St. Petersburg, 842 in the Moscow Region, 439 in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, 359 in the Voronezh Region and 345 in the Rostov Region.
Currently, there are 404,501 active cases of COVID-19 in Russia.
