Russia records 5,118 new daily COVID-19 cases
Russia's coronavirus cases rose by 5,118 to 892,654 in the past 24 hours, the anti-coronavirus crisis center said on Monday.
According to the crisis center, the daily growth rate was below 0.6% for the eighth day in a row.
The growth rate is the lowest in the Chuktka autonomous region (0%), the Nenets autonomous region (0%), the North Ossetia region (0.1%), the Moscow region (0.2%), the Kabardino-Balkaria region (0.2%) and the Chechnya region (0.2%).
As many as 694 cases were identified in Moscow in the past day, 179 in the Sverdlovsk region, 157 in St. Petersburg, 153 in the Moscow region and 128 in the Rostov region.
There are currently 180,972 active coronavirus cases in Russia. According to the crisis center, 669,681 patients have recovered. The number of coronavirus deaths in Russia reached 15,001, TASS reported.
