Russia reports 27,002 new COVID-19 cases
Russia’s coronavirus cases grew by 27,002 in the past 24 hours. A total of 3,105,037 people have been infected by now, the anti-coronavirus crisis center said.
The country’s coronavirus recoveries grew by 24,874 in the past 24 hours. The total number of recoveries in Russia has reached 2,496,183.
The number of coronavirus-related fatalities in Russia went up by 562 in the past 24 hours, compared to 487 on previous day, taking the total to 55,827. The provisional death rate stands at 1.8%, TASS reported.
Russian medical workers have conducted more than 89.8 million coronavirus tests, an Internet hotline that keeps the public updated on the coronavirus situation reported, citing Russia’s consumer rights watchdog.
As many as 292,000 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. According to the watchdog, 662,615 people remain under medical supervision over suspected COVID-19.
