Russian Ambassador to US says Trump will not abandon Iranian nuclear deal
Moscow expects the administration of US President Donald Trump to continue the implementation of the agreement on the Iranian nuclear deal, the Russian Ambassador to the United States Sergei Kislyak said.
"We think that the deal between the six nations and Iran is a useful mechanism to decrease tensions. It works," Kislyak said.
Kislyak said that Moscow intended to conduct a dialogue with Washington over the Iran deal, and that those differences that did exist were of emphasis rather than substance.
"Of course, there will be a dialogue with our US counterparts on the Iranian nuclear deal…I am almost certain that the implementation of this particular agreement will continue," Sputnik cited Kislyak as saying.
