Russian-Venezuelan diplomatic talks to be held in Moscow April 3
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov will hold consultations with his Venezuelan counterpart Felix Plasencia in Moscow on April 3, TASS reported citing the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"Yes, we confirm that such consultations will be held in Moscow on April 3," a source in the ministry said answering a question on the issue.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Venezuela’s Executive Vice President Delcy Rodriguez held talks in Moscow in early March. The parties discussed further coordination in the international arena, the situation in the Latin American country and joint projects in the energy sector, industry, agriculture and the pharmaceutical industry. A meeting of the Russian-Venezuelan intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation is expected to be held in April.
