Russian military officials to visit Ankara for discussing Idlib
A Russian military delegation is set to visit Ankara in the near future in order to discuss the situation in Syria’s Idlib with the Turkish authorities, Ibrahim Kalin, spokesman for Turkish President Ibrahim Kalin said.
According to him, it was agreed by Presidents of Russia and Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Vladimir Putin. "Our observation posts in Idlib will remain within the framework of the Sochi agreement, there will be no changes here, the borders will remain the same," the spokesman added.
He noted that Ankara and Moscow have agreed on the locations of the observation posts of both countries in Idlib. "We will discuss with the Russian military the need to ensure the safety of our observation points," Sputnik cited Kalin as saying.
