Russian paratroopers to hold exercises in Tajikistan

More than 150 Russian paratroopers have arrived in Tajikistan, where they will take part in joint command and staff exercises, the directorate of the press service and information of the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

"Divisions of the Ivanovo and Ulyanovsk Airborne Troops, involved in joint command and staff exercises of the Armed Forces of Russia and the Republic of Tajikistan, carried out redeployment from airports in Ivanovo and Ulyanovsk regions to the 'Gisar' airfield in the Republic of Tajikistan," RIA Novosti cites the report.
