Russians who fought for terrorists in Syria detained in Moscow
Two Russian citizens, who fought for terrorists in Syria, have been detained in Moscow.
"Ahmed Hatiev and Karim Amirhanov, born in the Caucasus, were detained and arrested. According to the investigation, they were involved in the Syrian conflict and fought for terrorist organizations,’’ a source reports.
The detainees were charged according to the Article 208, part 2 of the Criminal Code of Russia (participation in illegal armed organizations on the territory of foreign states), Gazeta.ru reports.
The fact of the arrest was confirmed today by the press service of the Lefortovo court of Moscow. According to the court spokesman Julia Skotnikova, the suspects will be under arrest during two months.
