Russians win silver medals of European Cup in team tumbling competitions
The finals of the women tumbling team competitions were completed in Baku.
As a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reports, the first place was taken by the team from Great Britain, which scored 105.200 points. The best results were shown by Lucy Colebeck (36 points), Megyn Kelly (34.900 points) and Rachel Davis (34.300 points).
Russians became second by scoring 103.500 points. The best results in the team were showed by Victoria Danilenko (35.200 points), Anna Korobeinikova (34.600 points) and Elena Krasnokutskaya (33.700 points).
The gymnasts from France won the bronze medals. They scored 101 points. Among the French women, the best results were shown by Leah Kalon (34.400 points), as well as Maria Delozh and Lauriana Lamperim who scored 33.300 points.
The 26th European Championships in Trampoline, Tumbling and Double Mini-Trampoline is currently held in Baku. More than 400 gymnasts from 25 countries are expected to participate in it. In the first two days of the competitions, qualifications for all types of events both among junior and senior gymnasts as well as finals among teams were held, on the last day, medalists will be known in all four types of the gymnastics events.
