Saudi Arabia: Riyadh-Tehran relations require no mediation

There is no need for the international mediation in the situation between Iran and Saudi Arabia, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir said.

"A number of countries have offered to mediate between Riyadh and Tehran. We don’t see any need for it. The Iranians know what is required from them, so there will not be mediation," RIA Novosti cited Adel al-Jubeir as saying.

Recall, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said in Davos yesterday that Iran expects Russia to find out if Saudi Arabia is ready to normalize relations with Tehran. Earlier, Moscow had offered to mediate in normalizing relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
