Sharoysky patrimonial towers to get second life
In the Sharoysky district of Chechnya, a complex of 1,5 thousand years old patrimonial towers, which includes seven towers, a mosque and an arch, is being restored.
“Four towers have already been restored. Work on the remaining facilities is ongoing and is nearing its end,” the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov wrote in social networks, AiF-Stavropol reports.
Stone architecture attracts the attention of tourists, and the restoration will help preserve the memory of ancestors, ” professor at the Chechen State University Leichiy Garsaev said.
