South Ossetia, Syria forming intergovernmental commission
South Ossetian President Anatoly Bibilov said that Syria and South Ossetia were forming an intergovernmental commission, and expressed hope that it would soon start working, Urdu Point reports.
"We have almost finished forming our part of the intergovernmental commission. I hope that the joint commission will start working soon and will work directly on the implementation of the agreements that we had reached with [Syrian] President Bashar Assad," Bibilov said as quoted in a statement published on his official website.
The delegations of Syria and South Ossetia met on the sidelines of the ongoing Yalta International Economic Forum in Crimea.
