Threat of freezing rain remains in Moscow
The Russian Emergencies Ministry reported today that a threat of freezing rain still remained in Moscow.
The ministry noted that such adverse natural phenomena as gusty winds, precipitation in the form of rain and snow and the so-called 'freezing rain' are favorable for ice-covered ground, ice on the sidewalks, roadsides, vertical constructions and so on.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations warned that due to thus, ice-covered ground may lead to difficulties for traffic and an increase in the number of accidents, Gazeta.ru reports.
