Timur Bayramov: level of Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku is very high
Best international athletes arrived in Baku to compete at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup this year, so the level of the competitions is very high, Azerbaijani gymnast Timur Bayramov said, speaking with the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza.
The gymnast said that in general, his performance at the competitions was not bad, adding that tomorrow he will perform on one more apparatus, so he will try to do his best and compete for reaching the finals.
"The rivals at the competitions are very strong. Unfortunately, I didn’t reach the finals, which means that the level of the competitions is very high," Timur concluded.
The FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup is been held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, Azerbaijan on March 15-18. A total of 102 gymnasts from 25 countries are taking part in the competitions.
The qualifying competitions will be held today and tomorrow. The finals in the men's floor exercise, men's parallel bars, men's ring, as well as finals in women's vault and women's horizontal bar will be held on March 17. The finals in the men's vault, men's pommel horse, men's horizontal bar, as well as finals in women's balance beam and women's floor exercise will be held on March 18.
