Tokayev registered as candidate for presidential elections in Kazakhstan
The CEC of Kazakhstan has registered the acting head of state, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as a presidential candidate. He became the first officially registered election candidate.
According to the secretary of the Central Election Commission, Sabila Mustafina, all the documents necessary for the registration of Tokaev were provided to the CEC and met all the necessary requirements.
Tokaev was issued a certificate of a presidential candidate, the relevant message about the registration was published in the media, RIA Novosti reports.
